Travelling to Thomond for Munster v Connacht

If you are travelling this Saturday to Munster’s Magners League tie against Connacht please try to arrive early and allow sufficient time for your journey.

Gates open at 5.30pm, 2hours before kick-off.

Tickets
There will be tickets available to purchase from Ticketmaster booths outside the Green Gate Entrance  from 4pm (Hassett’s Cross corner of Thomond Park)

Please check your tickets for the details of the turnstiles (T1 – T12). Your ticket will only be accepted in the turnstiles identified on your ticket.

Travel
The Park and Ride facility will be in operation from the following locations: Please note the Ballykisteen facility is not in operation for this game.

Kilmurray Lodge Hotel, Dublin Road Castletroy (starting at 5.00pm)
Radisson Hotel, Ennis Road, just off the dual carriageway (starting at 5.00pm)
Maldron Hotel, Carew Park Link Road (starting at 5.30pm)
Punches Hotel, Ballinacurra, (starting at 5.30pm)

The Bus Eireann Shuttle Bus Service from Dunnes Stores, Henry St. starts at 5.00pm

Pre-Match
The Dug-Out bar is open from 5.30pm with live entertainment and competitions to win match tickets and signed merchandise.

On the pitch entertainment starts at 7pm with music from Derek Moloney and entertainment from Arcana.

Match programmes will be on sale from booths inside and outside the stadium for €;4.

Give Up Your Gear
Calling all on all supporters to please bring any spare rugby gear (socks, togs, jerseys, boots) to Saturday’s game in Thomond Park. Munster Rugby will have collection points in place at the stadium so supporters can deposit any spare gear.

All collected items will be used for developing rugby among children and teenagers by providing them with the basic requirements to take up the sport.

Two specific regions in Munster will be the initial beneficiaries of this scheme, the Limerick regeneration areas and the Knocknaheeny/Hollyhill area on the north side of Cork. So please show your support and give up your gear this Saturday!

Other collections will take place at the following games:
Sunday 10th January – Munster v Scarlets – Musgrave Park
W/E of 23rd January – Munster v Northampton – Thomond Park

Stadium Information
Customers are not permitted to exit and re-enter the stadium at any point.

No one will be able to enter the stadium with alcohol or glass and customers will be requested to remove the lids of ant soft drink containers on entering the stadium.

Please do not enter the pitch area at any time and adhere to the stadium ground regulations found here.

There will be stewards and security on site to assist you with your enquiries on the day, and to ensure that the event runs smoothly and safely, so please respect their requests.
